Membership/Participant

The Mo/Kan Chapter Participatants are open to Midshipmen and families from our area which is designated as all of Kansas and the western half of Missouri. Additionally, if you are Alumni and family, Blue & Gold Officers or Coordinators or anyone interested in positively supporting our Midshipmen from our area can be a Chapter Participant.

The participation year begins the first of June through the end of May. Family Annual dues is $30.00 per year. Associate Participant(s) annual dues $10.00 per year. The Chapter provides 2 nametags with the intial year of participation. Additional tags can be obtained for an additional fee of $6.50 that covers the cost of the tag and mailing. Another participant option is to pay the Full 4 Year Family Dues for $ 105.00.

Activities primarily include but not limited to the following activities:

Welcome Picnic

mailing Summer Care Packages (for Plebe Summer)

Football Watch Parties (1 or 2 per year)

Army vs Navy Watch Party (usually hosted by Army or Navy Alumni)

Firstie Parent Breakfast/Luncheon - shares information in preparation for Graduation/Commissioning (resource: previous year's parents)

All Service Academy Ball- hosting shared by area USAFA Parents Club, USMA ParentsClub & USNA Parents Clubs

Dark Ages Care Package Party

Graduation/Commissioning Gift- Silver Dollar (First Salute following Commissioning Tradition)

Our organization functions primarily on the participant dues and donations. At this time, the organization does not participate in any specific fundraisers. During the preparation for our host year for the ball, fundraising is necessary.
